With its launch less than two weeks away, Square Enix is finally sharing details about Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood’s addition to the game’s vast lore. Gamers get a good look at the details surrounding Ala Mhigo’s conflict in the just-released 5-minute breakdown of the game.
Stormblood is the follow-up to Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, and the latest instalment of MMORPG’s greatest underdog story. The past few weeks have been full of technical details, covering new job abilities and other changes to the game’s battle system. But Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has always been known for its highly detailed story arc.
The trailer starts off with the words, “Liberty or death,” but from the looks of it, there’s going to be a lot more death before we see any liberty.
