After years of speculation, Square Enix has finally announced Final Fantasy XV for PC. The latest installment to the company’s flagship series arrives on Windows platforms early 2018, and is packed full of NVIDIA features.
Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is fully optimized for NVIDIA systems, including features such as NVIDIA Flow for fluid, fire and smoke; HairWorks for dynamic hair for characters and animals; and Turf Effects for life-like grass and vegetation environments.
“With the help of NVIDIA, we are creating a stunning visual experience in Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition, one worth of this beloved franchise,” said Hajime Tabata, Director of Final Fantasy XV.
Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition even aims to take Prompto’s photography work to the next level, by leveraging NVIDIA Ansel to allow gamers to compose shots and share them in 360 via smartphone, PC, or VR.
Final Fantasy XV first released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on December 10, 2016, and was an instant commercial and critical success.
